Let’s talk about why you’re here…
Fear of failing…
You take two steps forward, and life pushes you right back down. You’re losing ground. You want to be successful, but it doesn’t feel like you are winning right now. On the scoreboard, life is at ten; you’re sitting at two.
The scary “what ifs” are taking over…
It’s hard to make a single decision without feeling drained and confused. Worries are canceling out all glimmers of hope that you can make a change that lasts.
Happiness seems unattainable…
You’ve tried so many things to feel better, but nothing is working… and you’ve run out of ideas. This realization is starting to make you panic. You don’t want to give up, but what options do you have?
Trisha* was in a similar boat. Then, she came to counseling.
She didn’t really WANT to, but she was put on a Corrective Action Plan at work for repeated tardiness and frequent absences.
Well, she was late for her first appointment, which she blamed on needing to respond to another email from a manager needing clarification on a past-due project. She really wanted to be promoted and make more money, but others with less education kept skipping over her head as they climbed the ladder.
Working with Trisha, she learned that her being late was actually an avoidant response to stress. She saw how this was affecting her personal life, too, as she was always “too busy” and had no time to pay attention to dating or maintaining friendships. She often felt overlooked and invisible to others, which affected her mood and self-esteem.
In therapy, she learned to structure her days to be more balanced and productive. She found time to learn a new hobby (pickleball), and during one of her lessons, she met someone who invited her to apply for a job at their company. Who could have known that pickleball would lead to her doubling her salary in six months??
As Trisha worked on herself in therapy, she started smiling more, was invited more often to social gatherings, and had more energy to do the things in life that she wanted.
Therapy became an irreplaceable thing for her, as it helped her understand how she was getting in the way of her own progress.
It’s time to supercharge your personal growth.
Individual therapy offers you the tools to navigate life with confidence and become your best self.
Enhance your mental flexibility…`
… by curiously discussing what you want in life and shifting your focus toward finding opportunities to achieve those things.
Reduce your stress…
… by learning what’s within your circle of influence and letting go of the things you can’t control.
Manage your anxiety…
… by understanding how to use grounding exercises like guided meditation or mindful breathing to calm the physical signs of stress.
Overcome negative thoughts…
… by becoming aware of “thinking pitfalls” and practicing reflective writing strategies that interrupt and reframe unhealthy thought cycles.
Real benefits, real change…
Trisha and many other women learned that therapy with me is different.
They went from feeling scared about opening up to feeling empowered and supported on their journey of self-discovery.
They had no idea it would end up feeling so good. They started looking calmer, dressing better, and confidently taking control over their lives… one step at a time. It’s not that they never felt stress again…
It’s that they found ways to handle it so it didn’t steer them away from their happiness or purpose on this earth.
